Jade was the first DDB in the USA to compete in agility events, both through CPE and AKC.  This is despite being told others in the breed that 'these dogues cannot do agility'.  Jade has proven that they can- and well!  She often leaves border and golden owners shaking their heads, even earning one comment: "I can't believe that THING beat my border"!  (The best compliment we ever received!  She has been honored as the DDBSA's Working Dogue Hall of Fame Award Winner in 2006 -2009.  Jade has taken high score in obedience at the 2005 DDBSA National show where she also perfomed an agility demo.  She has been a steadfast ambassador for the breed, often in the public eye at competitions in working events throughout the midwest.  Here is a complete list of Jade's titles as of 2010:

In December, 2009, Jade and I attended the AKC Agility National Invitational in Long Beach!  While conditions were less than optimal, Jade nonetheless ran very well, earning a 'Double Q" on Sunday.  She was recognized at the AKC Agility Banquet as the Top Working Dog in her breed and received a certificate as well as a lovely AKC Medallion!  Jade turned 8 years old on December 21, 2009!
